Three promises

Calm news you can actually trust.

01

Trusted sources only

Every source is hand-picked from outlets with named editors and a corrections policy, and the app tells you why each one is there. No content farms, no state propaganda, no sponsored posts.

02

No ads, no tracking, no account

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sell. The app downloads whole topic files, so our server never learns who you are or what you read. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

03

Sensitive stories, with care

Distressing stories are labelled and their images blurred until you choose to see them. Developing stories say so. We label the news; we don't sensationalise it, and we don't hide it from you.

What it does

Only your topics. Newest first.

Pick your topics

World, business, technology, AI, fintech, insurtech, telecom, science, health, climate, travel, books and more. With Pro, add your own keyword topic.

A feed that isn't a game

Stories are ordered by time, not by what keeps people scrolling. Nothing is personalised from your reading, because nothing is tracked.

Read at the source

Each story shows the publisher's own headline, a short excerpt and their name, then opens on the publisher's site. Opinion, analysis and reviews are labelled, so you always know what you are reading.

Compare coverage

When several outlets report the same event, the card says so. With Pro, open the list and read the story from more than one side.

Your daily briefing

With Pro, a calm summary of headlines arrives at the time you choose. It is built on your iPhone and never includes distressing stories.

Saved for later

Keep a story to read tonight. Your topics, saved stories and settings stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.

How we choose sources

A short list, chosen by hand.

MyNews does not crawl the web. It reads a fixed list of news sources that we check one by one, and you can see the list, and why each source is on it, inside the app.

Real newsrooms

Wire services, public broadcasters, newspapers, magazines, respected trade press and research bodies. Each has named editors and publishes corrections.

Kept out

State-controlled propaganda, content farms, press-release wires, sponsored and "partner" posts, deals, listicles, quizzes and job ads never reach the app.

More than one view

Each topic draws on more than one outlet and, where we can, more than one region. Primary reporting comes first among stories from the same half hour.

Headlines are shown exactly as the publisher wrote them, never rewritten, and there are no AI summaries. Publishers own their journalism; we link to it. A publisher who wants a story or a feed removed can email support@knaizen.com and we remove it within 24 hours (how it works).

News with care

Hard stories, handled gently.

Some news is hard to read. MyNews never removes a story for being upsetting, but it gives you a moment before it lands.

Labelled and blurred

Stories about violence, death, war, disaster and similar subjects are marked, and their images stay blurred until you tap to show them. They never appear in the widget or your briefing.

A warning first

The most distressing stories show only the headline, with a content warning and a step before the article opens.

Help, if you need it

Stories about self-harm carry a line pointing to free, confidential helplines in your country. You can also hide distressing stories completely in Settings.

Labels come from a reviewed word list, so they can occasionally miss a story or mark one that didn't need it. If you see one we got wrong, use Report a problem on the story.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. Your subscription belongs to your Apple Account, and your topics and saved stories sync through your own iCloud.

What does Knaizen learn about me?

Nothing about you personally. The app downloads the same topic files for everyone, without any user ID, so our server only sees that a topic file was fetched. There is no analytics, no ad network and no tracking. Details: privacy policy.

Can I read whole articles in the app?

MyNews shows the headline, a short excerpt and a link. Tapping a story opens the publisher's own page, inside the app, so the publisher gets the visit. Some publishers have a paywall; MyNews does not include their subscriptions.

Does MyNews use AI to write summaries?

No. Headlines are shown exactly as the publisher wrote them. A wrong summary of a news story can mislead, so we don't make them.

Does it work in my country?

MyNews works worldwide, including Pakistan and the UAE, wherever the App Store offers it. It is not offered in mainland China.

How do I cancel?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Knaizen MyNews. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends to avoid the next charge.

Is there an Android or iPad version?

MyNews starts on iPhone. Android is planned for later.
